Our Custom cakes
Looking for a one-of-a-kind cake for your special occasion? Look no further than Sugaree Baking Company! We believe that your cake should not only LOOK fantastic, but it should also TASTE fantastic too! That's why we make EVERY component of your cake completely from scratch, utilizing only the finest ingredients available!
How to get started!
- Research cake styles and designs by looking for inspiration in magazines, online galleries, or social media platforms. Are you struggling to find inspiration? No worries! You can work closely with our decorators to come up with a design of your own!
- Explore different cake styles, shapes, and decorations. We offer a variety of specialty shapes to choose from, including: circular, square, hexagon, & octagon.
- Schedule a cake tasting box pick up from us. This will allow you to sample different flavors, fillings, and our delectable buttercream from the comfort of your own home. They cost $20 and can be ordered through our Square Site here: https://sugareebaking1242.square.site/
- Choose your flavors. Pick your cake flavor of either fudge cake, vanilla cake, or Florida Pound Cake. Choose your filling between the cake layers from our selection of homemade mousses: strawberry, raspberry, lemon, chocolate, cappuccino, and also our homemade ganache. You can choose one type of cake flavor and up to two different types of mousse, per tier on your cake. All of our cakes are decorated with our homemade classic Italian meringue buttercream, unless otherwise discussed.
- Determine the number of guests you will have at your event. We can use this information to guide you towards the appropriate cake size based on your guest count. We also offer back up, or "kitchen", cakes that look comparable to your tiered cake when cut in the kitchen.
- Discuss your vision with our Head Cake Decorator either in person, over the phone, or via email. During the consultation, please communicate your theme, color scheme, budget, number of people to feed, venue location (if needing delivery), and any other specific design ideas you have in mind. Also please provide us with your full contact information and any inspiration photos or sketches you have to help us understand your vision. - Pay your deposit or payment in full to hold your date. Once we have discussed all the specifics including design, flavors, and size- we will send over an agreement that outlines all of the details, including the delivery date, setup, and cost. Important: No orders or dates are confirmed unless some form of payment has been made! Payment must be made in full within 1 month prior to the event.
Custom Cupcakes, cookies, pies, and dessert options
Not in the mood for cake at your event? No worries! We have been a part of plenty of pie weddings and events that have asked for a dessert bar! Just reach out to us discuss those options further!

Our Commitment to you
We promise to always serve you the most delicious, from scratch, custom desserts. Please allow 3-4 months in advance when placing your order for a larger event. For a smaller event, 2-3 week lead times can often suffice. Availability can sometimes be limited, so the earlier the better!
